Back to work today. Last week I went to a conference in Boise and hob nobbed with professionals. This week it is back to working with Monkeys! I wish I could spend more time with school and academia, and less time with work, but the bills are insistent.
I need to do some writing of papers and score some of the IQ tests I practiced giving last week. The IQ testing is actually more interesting than I thought it was going to be. It is a lot of work, though.
I am reading the third Eragon book. It just came out and is called "Brisinger." Actually I am listening to the book on CDs while I drive. I am also reading the second "Twilight" series Book. These are of course not on the semester reading list, but I have to have some fun.

Virtual Journal
I am starting this Blog as a fun way to write in my Journal and keep information current. Today I am in Boise for a School Psychology Conference for school. I am still a "wanna a be" but maybe someday soon I will be a School Psychologist. I am not sure that my life is ever going to be financially secure, but I have hopes that if I can make it through this program and get a job, it will more secure.
I am tired of being mostly poor although I am blessed with a life that is rich in opportunity and variety. I don't think that I will ever be overly comfortable as far as physical monetary things go, but I do have high hopes that I won't have to live in a poverty situation. I see so many women out there that have worked so hard all of their lives and end up living in poverty, especially as they get older. This is a tragic problem in our society and I am trying ,first, keep myself out of this hole and then possibly help others. You have to be able to take care of yourself before you can take care of others.
